Meeting Soon

We are coming ever closer to the next game days!  So, first we'll have the usual Saturday game day on the 23rd, we'll start at noon and all that in the same place.  And this Tuesday, the 26th, we'll start the new gaming group at five!  New plot, new city, and hopefully brand new fun!  But if it is old brand fun, that will be great too!

Been progressing on everything I need to do on a new plot, and have been thinking about Saturday's Plot too and hopefully we'll get some good game play on that!  I am all geared up and hopefully Saturday will be fun and Tuesday will be a great start!

A Beaver would be Envious!

As most people who are in the loop know, last week's meeting was canceled on the account that I needed to work a little earlier than usual and also I was working a great abundance during that week.  Being already weakened and working that day, I decided it was probably best to play when I could give it my all.  But this week is a little different, and I plan on doing Saturday's group come hell or high water!  That phrase is very interesting to type, until this point I have only said it.

Anyways, the last few weeks have been sort of exciting game-wise.  I have made an archetype list which after some editing will end up in my Google Document account. I hope this will help players in making a character faster.  The archetypes are intended to be a springboard for players who are having a tough time making a character.  The character archetypes I made are; The Assassin, The Authority, The Bounty Hunter, The Con Artist, The Detective, The Doctor, The Fop, The Industrialist, The Inventor, The Mechanic, The Mercenary, The Pugilist, and The Thief.  All thirteen (perhaps I should cut one for good luck) have a brief description, allocated stats, and assigned skills.

Also, I have started on another document outlining how the "odd" jobs of the Hepian Empire work.  These are the jobs which do not have any straight way of telling how to do them.  These jobs include: Assassin, Body Guards, Bounty Hunters, Doctors, Gangsters (Mafia), Investigators, Mercenaries, Professors, Reporters, and Thieves.  In my usual style I am writing a "breif" history of the jobs and how one would become one.

The next task, one which I have already started, is getting a more organized item list and adding items to the list.  It is a marginal task, but at least I have some clues on how to do this.  Also, I am going to start writing more on the other cultures because there has been some concern over the lack of detail of the Cizinec, Negustor, and the Teresing.

So much to do still, but I am sure I can find some help.  If not, I can do it myself like usual.

Also, just a reminder.  There will be 2 groups!  On the 26th of October (that's a Tuesday) there will be a group meeting the usual place starting at 5.  This will be a separate group from Saturday, with a separate plot and maybe separate characters.

One more tidbit of information!  I have just purchased (or at least my order is still out on it) mapping software which will help me make maps better!  I will give more details when things are definite!  I am so excited about this!  Now, I just have to find a large enough printer!  Trip to Kinko's anyone?

A Decision Finally Realized

For a month I have been weighing the pros and cons of having two gaming groups.  Originally I thought that Saturday was going to be super accessible to people, seeing that Saturday is a common day off.  But alas, my assumption was shattered by the harsh hammer of reality.  With each passing group meeting that people can't make it, I have finally come up with a decision that I will keep doing the Saturday Group, but I will also starting a new Tuesday Group!  I am very aware that some people will not be able to make it, but if that means I can have several people who can't make it to Saturday then that is for the better.

Though, I have sent an email with a few question.  The first was if people were comfortable with a different plot than Saturday.  This would probably only benefit me, so I don't get the two games confused.  Second would be if anyone would be willing to make new characters (which wouldn't be hard for anyone joining).  The second question is more to see if anyone wants to start a new.  This would also help me what kind of characters I would have.

Hopefully the two groups will be fruitful in their own way!

Meeting on 10-2

Well, once again no one really showed up!  Oh well!  In these times of being over 20 and holding down a job it is understandable that people may be busy on Saturdays.  We'll just have to try again next week!

This makes me consider more heavily to do something on Tuesday or Monday during the evening.  Anyways, this will give me time to cook up something phenomenal for the next meeting!

Stupid Updates

I have been looking at other people's blog to see what makes a good blog.  So I added a few more things here!  Can you spot them?!  I probably wouldn't either.

Also, I would like to say hello to who ever is looking at this blog from Denmark and the UK!  It makes me feel like what I am doing is way less lame when I know it is more than me and the people involved looking at this.

Also, this Saturday the group is going to meet up again at the usual place and the usual time!  Hopefully everyone will be able to make it!
