New thus Far

So far, there isn't much new game play since the last time I wrote for game play.  Mainly because is seems like people suddenly have crazy schedules.  As always, I am on the search for new players.  I just hope I can find some people who don't have turbulent schedules.  Then again, I probably need to not have one myself.

So, I feel like I have been on an epic quest with ProFantasy and getting their products.  So far, they have been awesome, have sent the programs quicker than usual, but I still haven't gotten to use it.  This is partially do to the time factor that I have for myself.  If one notices that I usually write these blogs either late at night or while I am not working (like right now I have a touch of something and can't work).  Another is that they didn't send me the main program, Campaign Cartographer 3, that the rest of these programs use.  A slight shipping mistake, but then again they do offer the program to download off their sight.  I only wish my connection was reliable enough to do that.  Plus, I rather have the program in my hands on a hard copy just in case.

So, instead of sending me that, they sent me another cool program, Fractal Terrains - Random Planet Generator, which I will either have to send it back to them or pay to keep it.  Which I do not mind paying for it.  ProFantasy seems to me like a smaller company and I rather not cheat them out of any money.  I have moral issues with that.  Now if they were a huge company, then that might be a whole different can of worms.

Anyways, for that past few months I have been emailing a man named Ralf.  Not on purpose really but I am very sure he is the one who responds to the emails about shipping, billing, and all those other non-technical aspects.  Ralf has been awesome, nothing short of a top-notch representative of his company!  He is my new dream man... in a strictly platonic sort of way.  You know... err...  the type of guy who you wouldn't mind drinking with.... while on a double date.. with women... at a strip club... while watching the game...?  That sounds manly enough.  This is where I would insert the awkward silence and coughing.

So, I am waiting for the Campaign Cartographer before I start my mapping of madness.  I have been watching tutorials online and it seems like a pretty cool, but a tad complicated, program.  But once I get use to it I am sure that I will be able to do the most awesome things with it.  Like map butterfly wings and how to find unicorns in real life and... er... no, probably not.  But I will be able to make maps for my games!  Which is cool enough!  Oh and Dioramas!  Did I mention I got a diorama making program?  Could construct a city block!
