So, if you live in the western part of Washington state, you probably have learned at this point that the weather sucks. It is very nasty outside. To some, they may think the wind is howling and dark billowing clouds loom over head, which is some cases about the clouds it true. But no, it is cold and slick outside. This has made it near impossible to travel long distances. So, while not playing the RPG, I have decided to look into things which may enhance game play a little.
First, I have always loved 3d modeling and have had done it for a number of years. I stumble suddenly upon a new thing which google has made called "Google Sketchup". Apparently it is a 3d modeling program! And it looks cool and simple to use. It is like a mix of a CAD program and some other programs I have seen before. I am gonna try it, make a few rooms and see where it takes me. Perhaps I can build cities! Or at least city blocks.
Second, I have been wondering what has happened to my check to Pro Fantasy. I am kind of getting bummed looking into my bank account and not seeing that 300 dollar check cashed yet. God, I want map making programs! I will email them tonight and see what is up and try to see if it isn't just the company goofing up. Relying on other people drives me crazy!
Anyways, talking about maps, I have actually expanded the map for Fura recently. I have decided I didn't have enough map for the city. I do enjoy making maps by "hand" (not really by hand since I am using a computer), but it gets sort of tedious after a while. How many blocky things can I make before I go mad?
